Uploading Files Using Fetch (Mac FTP)

First, open 'Fetch' and go to the 'File' menu and select 'New Connection'.
This will take you on to the screen shot below.

The 'New Connection' box will appear and you need to fill in the boxes as shown.

Note: User ID is Case Sensitive (Cap E's)

Click OK

Upon connection, you will be presented with the contents of the 'incoming' folder (as shown here).

The incoming folder is empty at present. Choose Binary for the transfer protocol as shown.

From here, you can use the 'Put File' options (Get File... will not be available) to transfer your files but, it is just as easy to drag and drop files into the empty 'Incoming' window.

We have dragged and dropped an HTML file called 'my_file.html' into the incoming window. As you do this you will see a little 'Dog' icon appear along with a 'Circle Timer' (see the right of the screen shot above). This is showing you how long the file will take to upload.

It's as simple as that!
